Preparing for Our Virtual Celebration of Learning

We are preparing to show our work to parents for a Virtual Celebration of Learning which has been scheduled for Wed. Nov. 25.  This is an after school event that we invite parents to partake in with students.  Here's how it works:

With your child, go to the Google Classroom and find the assignment entitled: Celebration of Learning.  Have your child follow the steps to show you their work.  Please do your part by asking your child to reflect on their learning process using the questions provided.  We ask that you complete the Google form (quiz) to provide feedback about your child's learning.

This week we worked on typing and revising our writing to include more descriptive words and phrases. We worked on our Letter/Diary Entry from Karana's Perspective and our Biographies of a Classmate. We are looking forward to showing you our revised work.

In Math, we worked on representing division in a variety of ways to show our understanding of what division means.

In social studies we listened to classmates slide presentations about Alberta's Regions.

In science we played a Sorting game to practice the 3 R's: Reduce, Recycle and Reuse.
